What's going on in and around La Casa del mango
Introducing ourselves! ![]() We’re your hosts, Martin and Natacha. We had a dream to leave our hectic working lives and cold Quebec Canadian winters for a simpler life in the sun and having visited Costa Rica and Panama a few times, we decided to take the leap! Costa Rica’s safety and commitment to the environment made it our first choice and we were attracted to the Caribbean Coast’s multiculturalism, nature and warm people. From our first visit to La Casa del Mango, we knew that we’d had found our dream and we’re excited to share our Pura Vida experience with guests.

Afrocostaricans are amazing. I was in one of their towns last month, and it was an amazing experience. Well, there aren't really the best when it comes to development, but that is part of their greatness. They are a pretty backwards society, but they are one that is all about their traditions. I cannot say if it is a bad or a good thing, but I think that it is amazing that there are still societies like this in the world.
